Jobber is hiring a Senior Analyst, Customer Analytics for a 12-month contract to join its Strategy & Analytics group, specifically the Customer Analytics team. Based in a Canadian hub city, the analyst will own analytical workstreams within cross-functional initiatives, helping stakeholders turn ambiguous business questions into structured analysis, clear insights, and practical recommendations. The work spans exploratory deep dives, performance measurement, segmentation, cohort and scenario analysis, impact evaluation, experimentation, and decision-support tools. The role suits someone with strong SQL and business judgment who can act as a thought partner, communicate findings through compelling narratives, and use AI-assisted workflows responsibly while maintaining analytical quality.
Key responsibilities
- Scope analytical questions with stakeholders and independently carry work from exploration to recommendations
- Serve as an analytical thought partner, challenging assumptions and identifying opportunities
- Conduct deep dives to explain trends, risks, and drivers of business performance
- Apply segmentation, cohort analysis, scenario analysis, impact measurement, and experimentation
- Evaluate the expected or realized impact of initiatives and identify where to iterate
- Build metrics, reporting, dashboards, and decision-support tools
- Present findings with assumptions, limitations, and business context
- Use AI-assisted tools to speed analysis and documentation while validating outputs
- Collaborate with Analytics, BI, Analytics Engineering, and Data Science peers
Key requirements
- Expert SQL skills with complex relational data
- Strong quantitative analysis and performance measurement experience
- Experience with segmentation, cohort analysis, scenario analysis, impact evaluation, or experimentation
- Proficiency in BI and visualization tools such as Tableau
- Business acumen and curiosity about context beyond the data
- Strong storytelling and communication skills for varied audiences
- Collaborative, proactive approach to ambiguity and shifting priorities
- Judgment to use AI-assisted tools responsibly
- Python for analysis or automation is an asset
- SaaS, subscription, or cross-functional analytics experience is a plus
