Stripe is hiring a Data Analyst Intern in Toronto!
Stripe is hiring a Data Analyst Intern for its Toronto office as part of a competitive summer-style internship program within the company's Data Science community. Stripe builds programmable financial infrastructure used by more than ten million businesses, and interns are expected to work on real projects across the data stack that affect how those businesses operate rather than on toy problems. The intern owns a problem end to end with guidance from a manager and mentor, joining a group of analysts and scientists who work with some of the company's most foundational data. Day-to-day work centres on extracting insight from large, complex datasets, defining metrics, extending the semantic layer, building data assets and pipelines, and producing dashboards and reports that inform how the business is run. Interns also assess the impact of product launches and business decisions through analytics and A/B testing, and are expected to turn findings into clear, actionable recommendations. Because teams are matched to candidates based on background, the specific analytics group is determined after hiring. The posting stresses high expectations, curiosity, and comfort with ambiguity, and closes with a presentation of the intern's work to the Data Science team, partner teams, and other interns.
