Affirm is hiring a remote Analytics Lead!
Affirm is hiring an analytics lead for its Risk & Analytics team, focused specifically on collections and recoveries strategy for the Canadian market. The role sits within a group that designs and evaluates experiments to guide business strategy, and this position owns the full post-delinquency lifecycle — from early digital and outbound collections through third-party agency placement and post-charge-off recoveries. The analyst sets the Canadian roadmap, sizes and tests new initiatives, and monitors downstream performance, working alongside Product, Legal, and Compliance to keep every treatment compliant with provincial collection and consumer-protection rules, Quebec's distinct civil-law regime, and federal and provincial privacy law. It is a remote position open to residents of Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Newfoundland and Labrador, Nova Scotia, Ontario, Prince Edward Island, and Saskatchewan, with occasional in-person onboarding.

- Set and iterate the Canadian collections and recoveries strategy across delinquency, roll rates, agency performance, and charge-off outcomes
- Take initiatives from hypothesis through sizing, A/B test design, launch, and measured impact
- Partner with Product, Legal, and Compliance on provincial, Quebec-specific, and privacy requirements
- Collaborate with collections teams in other geographies, particularly the US, to share approaches

- 5-7+ years in credit risk, collections, or recoveries strategy analytics within consumer lending

- Strong analytical skills with SQL, Python, or similar scripting languages
- Ability to interpret credit and collections performance data and turn it into action
- Knowledge of collections, recoveries, and delinquency management practices

- Strong cross-functional communication and stakeholder management across technical and non-technical audiences

- Salary: $145,000 - $205,000 CAD per year
- Key skills: SQL, Python, credit risk analytics, collections strategy, recoveries analytics, A/B testing, vendor management, regulatory compliance, stakeholder management
